Community Update • Spring 2023
May 15, 2023
Effective June 16th, 2023, the community dumpsters will no longer be available for use and all trash and recycling generated by Gold Bend homeowners and their guests shall be disposed of at the NPOA Dumpster Site. You can read more information about the dumpster site (location, hours of operation, rules, etc.) on the NPOA website. Note that there are also specific bins for recycling and cardboard at the dumpster site.
This decision has been made after careful consideration of the rising costs associated with maintenance and widespread misuse of the dumpsters. By eliminating the dumpsters, we aim to improve waste management practices and promote responsible disposal habits among our residents. We understand that this change may require adjustments to your waste disposal routine, and we appreciate your understanding and willingness to make this transition as smooth as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Warm regards,
The Gold Bend Board of Directors
